MEDICAL EQUIPMENT & AMBULANCES FOR UKRAINE

We source, purchase and deliver used and new AmbulanceS to Ukraine.

The vehicles are donated to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, hospitals as well as to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. To date, we have delivered 220 ambulance and evaquation vehicles.

We are also collecting donations to purchase new high-capacity 4×4 specialized ambulances based on tested and durable models operated by the international rescue missions. These ambulances can play a vital role in providing medical assistance and evacuation to those living in areas not accessible by normal city-bound transportation. They provide provide a real lifeline to those in need of urgent medical attention, where conditions require all-terrain capabilities.

The fundraiser goal is to reach the target of another 100 ambulances.

We also transferred medical equipment for medical vehicles, such as defibrillators, masks and first aid medical supplies. To date, we have collected and delivered 3 cargo trucks of medical supplies, which have been passed to the Embassy of Ukraine in Switzerland.

Since the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian war more than 190 ambulances have been lost due to shelling, bombing or temporary occupation. The destruction of critical infrastructure, i.e., 23 thousand km of roads, 295 bridges and more than 600 hospitals leads to significant capacity loss of existing system of emergency medical care. It also makes much more difficult the evacuation and transportation of victims in the areas with destroyed infrastructure. Usual city ambulance vehicles may not perform their functions to full extent due to difficult terrains, impractical and difficult repairs, and poor quality of fuel in Ukraine.

The project is expected to significantly enhance the capabilities of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine to provide operational emergency care to victims and ensure in-time evacuation of wounded persons in all regions of Ukraine, despite terrain or infrastructure conditions.
